March Meeting

An interesting workshop was held by Gayle De'Angelis from Warburton.   Gayle has a business called Retied Attire were she makes wearable art out of ties and scarves.   This was a hands on workshop where we all had such fun.  Greg Carolyn's husband was on hand to video all the goings on.  This video will be available for loan from our library.

October Victorian ATASDA Textile Art Meeting

The October meeting of our new Victorian ATASDA group was attended by 25 ladies.  Artist and designer Neroli Henderson gave an informative talk on the inspirations and techniques behind her unique art quilts using a slide slow and many of her original works to demonstrate.

More photos to be posted over the next few days.

Discussion was held during the meeting reguarding what techniques members would like to see featured in workshops during 2011.  If you have any suggestions please add them to the comment section below.

We are also looking for books to add to our Victorian library for members to borrow. If anyone has any textile based books or magazines they would like to donate to our proposed library please let us know or bring them along to the next group get together in January. Any fibre or textile related books or magazines will be welcomed!

Some interesting items were shown and talked about in Show and tell:
